Don Hamit Land & Auction Co. is a Kansas based company that was founded in 1984 by Don & Terry Hamit. Don graduated from the Reish World Wide College of Auctioneering, Mason City, IA. in Dec. of 1983 and has since conducted several hundred auctions. Don, striving to maintain a professional service and to help stay abreast of the continual changes in the auction profession is a Member of the National Auctioneers Association and the Kansas Auctioneers Association. Don has served 6 years on the Board of Directors of the Kansas Auctioneers Association and has served as Vice President, President Elect, President and Chairman of the Board of the Kansas Auctioneers Association. Don is also a Real Estate Broker, selling several thousand acres of farm and ranch land and a multitude of residential & commercial properties at auction and by private treaty.

Terry is a member, and has served 7 years as Secretary/Treasurer, of the Kansas Auctioneers Association Auxiliary and is also a member of the National Auctioneers Association Auxiliary.
